The Competition

“Keep your friends close, but your enemies closer” — Sun Tzu

If it were only that easy on the baseball diamond. If you are like me, you cannot get enough information online about the Rays as well as the opposition in the American League East. If that is the case, we would like to recommend some good blogs by Blue Jays, Orioles, Red Sox, and Yankees fans and/or writers.

Blue Jays:

  • DrunkJaysFan – The language can get a bit colorful but the content is enjoyable.
  • The Tao of Stieb – I grew up loving to watch Stieb and his slider go to work. Now, I read a blog in his honor.

Red Sox:

  • FireBrand of the American League – part of Rob Neyer’s SweetSpot Network over at ESPN and have been writing about the Red Sox since 2003.
  • Red Sox Beacon – Good friend Marc Normandin of Baseball Prospectus had to start a Sox blog to channel his inner-fan.
  • Sons of Sam Horn – May be the most amazing fan message board, evah
  • Over the Monster – The SB Nation Red Sox presence
  • SoxSpaceNews – One of the writers is the cousin of a dear friend of mine
  • Fenway West – Coast to Coast Red Sox coverage

If you would like to have your blog added to this list, email me.
